At the teachers' meeting on Saturday a desire was expressed by the teachers in attendance to develop study of government and citizenship as well as other local problems in the school districts of the county under the direction of the teachers of the public schools. Mr. A. T. Shirely and Mr. J. B. Tinner spoke interestingly of the work of the N.A.A.C.P. in the county and urged its support.
